The Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases (IND)
IND is committed to the prevention and treatment of diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and Lewy Body Dementia. We aim to transform patient care and research for people at risk for, or already affected by, these conditions.
Team
Our interdisciplinary team consists of clinicians, researchers, and students from across the U.S. and globally, including leaders in neurology, ophthalmology, psychology, and genetics, among other specialties.
Research
Our research focuses on finding methods to assess, prevent, and treat neurodegenerative diseases by observing changes in blood-based biomarkers, lifestyle changes, and pharmacological interventions.
Programs & Education
IND provides free educational videos, written content, and other resources including an online brain health course taught by Dr. Richard Isaacson.
